In our 70's house, we have mexitegel indoors on some walls on the ground floor. The wall is made of concrete blocks. How should we best cover the mexitegel? Just put drywall in front or plaster or filler or drywall or what? We want a reasonably smooth white surface.
Yes, I would probably also choose to polish. Spackel is probably out, it would be way too much, I think. Sure, you can put up frames and add gypsum, but it will add quite a bit, plus it's not great to try and attach battens/frames to the mexitegel.
