Hi,

I have installed beadboard paneling 160 cm high and need to finish with a molding. I wonder if there are "routed" moldings that fit the beadboard (it's about 12 mm thick) because I want to avoid a gap between the wall and the molding.

Hope you understand what I mean.

Regards, Kilroy

Yes, of course! It would be a bad lumberyard that sells paneling but no bröstlist.

I think you misunderstand me, I am fully aware that it is possible to get hold of various moldings at a lumberyard. In this case, I am not looking for an ordinary molding with a smooth backside but rather there should be a routing where the panel meets the molding. It should overlap the molding and fit tightly against the wall.

Something like this, but 12 mm and not 21 mm

From what I understand, it's exactly that type of moulding I mean, a bröstlist. Attached is a VERY simple sketch. Are we on the same page?

Yep, and you mean it's at the lumberyard? I have the impression that they are hard to find. Maybe I've been looking in the "wrong" places.

That's what I mean :) At least it's available at the serious ones (including Optimera) here in town, I don't know about the discount chains, like Jem&Fix, Cheapy.

Good luck!

Byggmax for example has the following two to choose from and at a "serious" one there are many variants!

EDIT: I saw that you already rejected the top one but it fits perfectly for 12mm pärlspont, I have it myself in our kitchen!

Perfect, thanks!
