Hello

Can someone help me calculate the consumption of 8-16 makadam for a 15-meter long wall?
It will be built with leca, so the excavation for the foundation will be
15 m long
50 cm wide
15 cm makadam deep.

How much makadam should I order?

Micke

15 × 0.5 × 0.15 = 1.125 m3 crushed stone, but use crushed rock 0-16 instead of 8-16. In weight, it corresponds to 1.8 tons.

You should probably have macadam behind the wall as well, then you avoid frost heave of the wall and don't forget the drainage pipe.
