Not really sure if this is in the right forum section, but I'm trying.
We are going to build an Attefall building on the plot and the ground where it will stand slopes maybe about 1m over the distance that the house will occupy.
So it will be like a split-level house.
The house will be built on a concrete slab on the ground and made of wood, but I have concerns about the part that will be where the ground is highest, about 1m above the slab.
We will frame the walls with 95x45 + 45x45 + nail battens + vertical paneling.
If the whole house were above ground, I wouldn’t have any problems, but now I wonder what I should do with the meter that will be "underground"?
Should I build it up with leca blocks? - But then there will be no insulation...
I could, of course, use isoblocks, but then the wall will be too thick...
I don't want to insulate leca on the inside as I want everything at the same level on the inside (it will be a bedroom)...
Can I build up the wall with 150mm leca blocks and then just put something like Isodrän on the outside, is it okay to put gypsum on it on the inside then? Is the insulation value enough?
What suggestions do you have?
Thanks in advance.
