I am going to build a cold storage that will be attached to the house facade. The idea is to store bikes, tires, sleds, and other items that don't need to be indoors.

I am an expert in overkill constructions when working at home, but this time I will do my best to make it as simple as possible...

I need some suggestions and tips, this is how far I have gotten

* Floor: compact the ground and lay paving stones
* Walls: attach a beam to the facade for the rafters to rest on in joist hangers and cast to set two posts that will form the corners.
* Roof: battens directly on rafters and attach sheet metal roofing to that.
* Door: perhaps a cheap storage door from Byggmax or something.

Can it be made simpler?

If I were to do as you describe, I would have skipped the padding before placing the stones and just laid them directly on the ground. Possibly skipped the stones entirely.
