Construction drawing 4R- what is meant?

Hello!

I have a construction drawing where a glulam beam 90x315 is to be placed on something that should bear the load... this is designated with 4R... what is meant? Is it as simple as it being 4 wall studs (45x195) nailed together into a unit? The engineer is hard to reach... trying here in the forum to see if someone with more experience in reading construction drawings can guide me! Daniel

It seems so. Is there no legend you may have missed or "footnote" somewhere?

Unfortunately, no legend or footnote... I also can't see that it's in any standard... Maybe it's an established abbreviation... Thanks for the answer!

Considering that there are 4 standing studs drawn there, I would also guess that this is what they mean. Even though I would have written 4 pcs 45x195....
