Hi!

Does anyone know if you can mix something into a plaster paint to make the color hide unevenness in the wall?
For example, mortar or something else!

It is a basement wall.

Go to a paint store and ask to buy strukturmedel. It is a fine powder that you mix into paint and roll or brush onto the wall. The texture is easy to vary depending on how much strukturmedel you mix in. Then paint everything once with just paint to get a good finish. Some stores only have pre-mixed textured paint, but keep looking and you will find the strukturmedel. If you can't find it, I can SMS the medel to you. ;) ;D 8)

Okay :)

thank you for your answers.

Shouldn't one be able to take tile grout and mix it very thinly, like porridge, and then paint or roll it onto the wall? ???

I sell texture medium to mix into regular paint for 20 kronor per liter. Should be available in all paint stores. kakelfog is too fine-grained to achieve textured paint.
