Hello! I'm thinking of building a cold room with a so-called CoolBot
https://storeitcold.com/. If you have tips on similar cheap and smart solutions, I'm open to that as well.
It's for a cold room to store vegetables. So it only needs to be cooled to about 15 degrees, but it wouldn't hurt to be able to lower the temperature without it becoming too expensive. Right now, I'm thinking of a size around 10 m2 but might build bigger and divide the room so I can store more if needed.
I'm considering which material is best to build the walls with. I've considered Isoblock from Leca, easy to build with and quite good U-value and moisture-resistant. But on CoolBot's website, polystyrene boards are recommended.
I will of course consult with professionals in the future, but I'm planning the build and would like to find an optimal solution now.
So what do you think is the most efficient (cost and energy) way to build such a cold room?
All tips are appreciated, even if they cover things not mentioned in my original post. Thanks!
