Does anyone have experience with flooring that looks exactly like tile but is click flooring?
I saw an ad for it today, 249kr/m2 looked really fresh!!!! Nice to avoid walking on a hard tile floor!

Has no one come into contact with this floor????

hello ekke

check out a brand called ALLOC
they have a really nice tile laminate
they've applied the surface in two rounds, so you can feel
the joints. it's glue-free but unfortunately only available in three colors
very good quality!!
(now I'm not entirely objective, I work as a layer for a store
that sells ALLOC)

ps. light years away from ikea's 59:-floor

regards COCOS

Can't you tell me a little more about tile click flooring?
What's wrong with Ikea's flooring?

they work the same way as other click floors, but
with slightly wider planks
I believe the tiles are 30x30cm and you have 4 tiles
per board
you can lay them however you want, e.g., diagonally or
with staggered joints, or corner to corner

regarding Ikea's floors, they are not the most durable
directly. have torn out some that were worn out after
just a couple of years. I have an Alloc floor in the hallway myself, and despite
a dog sliding around with claws spread out
it still looks great after 5 years

it's the usual, "you get what you pay for" ;D

ac: joints are the actual HDF edge of the board (where the click lock is milled)

Can you tell right away that it's fake tiles?

NO! unless you lay down and crawl on the floor, of course ;D

the difference with all laminate compared to, for example, wood is that you don't have as much variation in the pattern

It is clear that you can see it's not tiles - there are no joints....the floor is completely flat.. ::)

I should probably take a serious look at that klinkclick floor.

that was exactly what I said in a post further up, that they have applied the laminate layer in TWO rounds, so the joint is a little lower than the actual tile just like a real clinker ::)

How about a linoleum floor instead then - there are squares with stone patterns. It's not as hard as tiles but incredibly durable, and much cheaper than Alloc..

Aha...I understand...!
But I'm still skeptical :P

kalledussin: then I can recommend
FORBO INSPIRATION
there we can talk about stylish patterns on the floor ;D ;D ;D

tomyself: maybe I should become a salesperson ;D ;D!!
