Hello, I have a concrete patio (outdoors) that has quite a few ugly oil stains. I've tried scrubbing with soap, but it didn't make much of a difference. Is there something that removes oil stains, or could it be an idea to treat the entire patio with oil so that the stains are not as noticeable?

You'll probably need to oil the entire surface to remove the stains as the oil has been absorbed into the concrete.

I removed the motor oil with a propane torch.

Thanks, I suspected something like that. There are traces of linseed oil paint and uncolored linseed oil; I hoped to remove the paint before oiling everything. But it doesn't sound very likely if the oil has been absorbed... :-(

What can you oil concrete with?

Have you tried using a pressure washer? I think it usually looks like newly made afterwards.
