I'm going to cover my H beam with drywall and I've heard that there are mounting clips that should facilitate the installation of the drywall?

Even 50/50 L-iron will suffice.
Would have drawn it but can't do that so...
But sit and sketch, and you'll see that it works, 2 layers of plasterboard if one layer is fireproof plaster (15 mm), otherwise three layers...
