I have a very large old cherry tree that's too close to the house. The cherries grow too high to reach, and when they fall, they land on the lawn, rot, and attract wasps.
So, this tree needs to be removed. What I'm wondering is if the tree might have any value. It's a really substantial tree with a trunk that's probably half a meter in diameter. Should I find someone who might be interested, or should I just burn it in the stove myself?
