Ceiling gypsum - short side or long side on ceiling battens?

As the title suggests, is it better to lay the long side or the short side of the plasterboard on the ceiling spars? And do you have to set noggings between the other joints?

The ceiling is spaced with 28x70 cc30.

The long side. Easier to draw cc lines on the gypsum that way. And yes. You should place small pieces between the studs in the joint!

Plaster is attached to the long sides and the seams, a sparse is inserted between the spars and underneath and attached to both, equally along the walls if it is short side plaster.
