Cedar or larch wood

We are going to apply plaster on the house and are thinking of adding some wooden details in the form of a 1-meter high and 4-meter long wooden insert. Can someone give tips on what the difference is between cedar and larch wood and which one is more expensive and therefore better?

Hello, we bought Lärkträpanel from some company in Sigtuna, fjällpanel cost about the same as regular panel. Best regards, Ingvar
