CC measurement beam for chipboard and 14mm parquet
Hello!
Fairly simple question that I've searched for an answer to but haven't found.
Does it work with cc 600 on the beam that is 210mm? The floor to be laid is 22 mm chipboard (not milled) and parquet/click flooring 14mm. Will it be wobbly?
Quite a lot of hassle to reinforce or add more beams since there are quite a few cables in armored conduits running in the floor structure. The floor in question is on the second floor.

Don't quite understand how it's constructed. You probably have an HEA220 beam (220 wide, 210 high) and this is usually where you insert 45x220 joists.
Thank you for the response!
I realize I was a bit too quick to be clear when I read my question again. I also have a bit of difficulty keeping the terms "balk" and "bjälk" separate. I'll try again...
The bjälkar are about 2200 long. The thickness is 45x210. CC bjälkar are 600. The board should lie across the bjälkar.
It seems like it should work without too much flexing? Or?

I have 4.7 meters of 45x220 beams c/c 600 in one place and it is also approved when combined with cross bracing AND screw-glued floor chipboard. No flex there either.
Okay, I am satisfied with these answers and will proceed strengthened in my work to create a home that meets my wife's extensive list of requirements. (As long as I get to drink pilsner during the execution of the work, I am satisfied.)
Thanks!
