Hello everyone, I am planning to cast in our hall, which was previously a crawl space. So far, I have torn out all the flooring, chipboard, etc., and reached the ground.
I have now laid a layer of crushed stone and now I am planning to add some insulation (about 15 cm) and then around a 10 cm slab with underfloor heating (waterborne) embedded. After that, I plan to lay tiles on this.
The question is, how long do you think the drying time of regular concrete is when the slab is only 3 sqm and 10 cm thick? I was planning to buy K40 Grovbetong from Byggmax. Good or bad choice? Since it's the shrinkage in the concrete that is crucial (as I understand it) before you can lay tiles, a 3 sqm slab should have less tendency to shrink than a 100 sqm slab.
How many weeks/months of drying time would you allow for this before you started laying tiles?

20 days drying time.. actually 3 months...
K40 completely fine...
Self-leveling compound because it's difficult to "tear down" a concrete floor level......
15 cm insulation is little, typically one would want 300mm and remember the edge insulation...

Thanks for the response! I've measured exactly now and it will be at least 22 cm Styrofoam (better than 15 at least). A drying time of 20 days sounds reasonably short! Leaning towards choosing K40 from Weber instead, but it's the same type at least, so I assume the drying time doesn't change.
I will also water the first few days if it continues to be this warm! Thanks again!
