Casting floors in the basement, room by room. What should one consider?
Hello,
We are excavating the basement of approximately 100m2. We will need to do the pouring in stages, room by room, due to the risk of collapse and the scale of the project.
We want to install hydronic underfloor heating in each room, it will be about 6-8 rooms.
This means we will need to work on one room at a time, sometimes 2 rooms at a time. Excavate, fill with capillary-breaking layers and insulation, reinforcement, and piping.
How would you solve it with the underfloor heating, would it have to come up from the floor in each room?
How would you solve it with the reinforcement? Of course, we want each room to be reinforced with the adjacent room.
