Hello, I am new to this site and have read all the posts about making your own countertops. I am in the planning stage to start tearing out my kitchen and installing new ones and am considering or planning to make my own concrete countertops. Most of the posts about this are old, so I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how it went, what was used to seal the surface, were you satisfied, or have you already thrown out the slabs?

I think there are answers to most things; otherwise, finja has good guides.
Use expanderbruk or bemix.
Vibrate well and ensure the mold is steady and straight.
Reinforce well.
Test post-processing on sample pieces.
I like when they become worn and with rings, then it works without treatment.
