Hello,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to read these lines.

I have a freestanding greenhouse with paving stones that are about 40mm thick, and I am pondering if it is possible to lay a thin layer of concrete/cement on top to 1 - provide a more homogeneous surface that could be sanded smooth and to avoid joints that automatically fill with a lot of debris. I can imagine there might be cracking, but overall it shouldn't be a problem. There will be some furniture and a few plants there, so having a crack isn't really an issue.

Thanks in advance.

It is good if the floor in a greenhouse is permeable to water. Not only for when you spill while watering, but so that condensation can have somewhere to go.

Shouldn't have done it. To make it sustainable, reinforcement and a 40-50mm thick layer are needed. Money down the drain :(

Remove the paving stone and pour a real floor instead?
