can latex caulk mold?

Sealed interior walls with latex, I'm not worried about the usual seams, but yesterday I took a chance and almost used the latex as a filler and filled a larger volume...

This isn't completely cured today, and suddenly thoughts started to haunt me like "what if it never dries, what if it starts to mold just because of this?"

What do you think, do I need to worry?

Latex dries from the outside in. Depending on the thickness, it takes a while before it completely dries. You don't need to worry. Latex molds in damp environments.
