Hi, I have a problem with sizing a flat roof for a garage.
The garage is 10x10 meters. I plan to place an HEA beam straight across with a column in the middle. Then I plan to lay 5-meter concrete elements from the edge to the beam from both sides.
I will fill soil over the roof (The garage is dug into a slope), I estimate the max roof load to be about 2000kg/sqm.
The concrete elements weigh 400kg/sqm.
Total about 2400kg/sqm.
What dimension of HEA or HEB beam should I use?
Grateful for an answer, haven't managed to get a response from any supplier.
