I wanted to see if there's anyone knowledgeable about loads with steel beams.
I am about to erect a double garage with a door opening of 4000mm.
It has self-supporting roof trusses with concrete tiles and an attic.
The measurement between the walls is 7680, with the full width of the trusses being 9460.
The door will be towards the eaves and will support approximately 4.5 roof trusses.
The question is, is an HEA 200 beam sufficient?
