We are in the process of buying tiles for a 28m2 basement (concrete) floor, as this is our first tile job that we are doing ourselves, a few questions naturally arise.
In this case, we are interested in tiles that look like wooden floors and the one we found at a reasonable price is Enmon Wood Forest Wenge 15x60.
From what we understand, it is important to use frost-resistant flooring so that it holds up well? But beyond that, we don’t know much about the quality? Are there any risks involved in buying tiles like this? When looking at other tile specialists' prices, the cost is usually around 500-800 per m2 for similar floors, so there must be some difference, right?
Our idea was to lay them in a herringbone pattern like in the picture, but it doesn't seem entirely simple, so we might just stick to laying them straight.
Do tiles like these work in the basement? Might it be too dark? Is there a risk that they will wear out so that they no longer look like a wooden floor?
Frost resistant is really only needed outdoors.
There is usually a marking on the tiles indicating wear resistance, if you walk with shoes it might cause some wear.

Yes, I understand that frost resistant is for outdoors but those I know who have tiled say that you should consider choosing frost protection regardless? Maybe the tiles are less likely to crack? As you say, there's a durability rating on them, if they're intended for public environments or not, and that probably has a lot to do with wear and tear. In this case, we'll be moving/wheeling (hand truck) with pellets a few times a week but we probably won't walk on them with shoes.
The question you still have to ask yourself is how is the quality of these particular tiles? Is the manufacturer good to buy from? Does Bauhouse maybe have a different scale for what's durable and not compared to others, they seem cheap after all?
