Hi all builders!
I have a question regarding my roof trusses, I want to extend them downwards to make room for loose fill insulation. They are currently 140mm high and need to reach at least 300 plus an air gap. It will also be open all the way up to the ridge. I'm not quite sure what is the best approach to take. They are spaced about cc 1200.
What is the cheapest, most practical, and best for structural integrity?
It's an upper floor of about 120 sqm with two dormers, so the roof trusses are quite large.
Thanks in advance!
