Hello,
We are about to buy a house from 1977 (Skanska) with a slab foundation. I have tried to find information on whether houses were built with pressure-treated beams during this time and the problems this could lead to.

Does anyone know what I should watch out for? As I understand it, the exterior walls are a wooden structure with plastered brick facades. Could this pose any risks after such a long time?

Grateful for any tips on pitfalls and information.

Best regards,
/Christian

Check how and where the slab is insulated.
At that time, it was still common to insulate the slab on the wrong side, on the top side.
Risk of moisture problems.
Have a very thorough inspection done!
