I'm planning to divide my small garage into two parts to create a little rehearsal space/music studio. It will be very simple and only used for hobby purposes when time and opportunity allow. Nothing super serious. I'll have some guitars, a digital drum set, perhaps a computer to record a bit for fun, and so on...
I don't know how much it will be used, so I don't want to start by putting up inner walls, etc., to divide the garage. Instead, I'm thinking in the first stage of building mobile wall sections that are somewhat soundproof to split it up. Maybe hang thicker curtains in front... I'm also considering laying some form of textile floor tiles, perhaps some carpet or similar for better acoustics. I've found acoustic panels on places like Temu or Amazon that I'm considering; they should make some difference at least, right?
Do you have any tips on how to easily/best build a mobile acoustic wall that works reasonably well? Or how I can best improve the acoustics in the garage and soundproof it outward as much as possible with simple means?
