Hello. In the space where we are going to build, the fabric wallpaper has bubbled here and there over the years.
We are thinking of cutting open the bubbles and applying glue. And then putting repair fabric, wallpaper over this.
We are considering using wet room glue.
What could happen?
There are no signs of moisture at present.

Are you sure the bubbles aren't due to moisture coming through the wall? Because it doesn't really sound normal for a woven wallpaper to bubble by itself several years after installation.

Renovation wallpaper covers small irregularities, but depending on the woven wallpaper, it may not cover all the texture in the weave.

The previous owner was in a big rush to get it done before we bought it. Over the years, we have noticed that the wallpaper has also bubbled on non-exterior walls. We now only have this space left to fix... but it certainly feels like a gamble.
