This weekend, it's planned to brick up a patio door and a window, together about 4 sqm. We had hoped for slightly warmer weather than it is now, but unfortunately, it looks like it will be -1 during the day and -4 at night.
We are going to use aerated concrete and thin joint mortar A 0.75mm. We plan to try to put up a tarp and have a construction heater underneath. But it's hard to say what temperature we can maintain.
From what I understand, winter measures must be taken, and the question is, what are those measures? Should something be added to the thin joint mortar so that it doesn't freeze, and if so, what?
