Bitumen/Asphalt Felt

Hi,

I am looking for a bitumen/asphalt mat for moisture protection against a basement wall. Since the basement wall cannot be drained without demolishing parts of the house, our engineer recommends these slightly thicker mats over the hard plastic knob mats like Platon. I have found Trelleborg's variant but wonder if there are other brands on the market?

Will the wall be able to breathe then? A lot of moisture comes from inside a house too. I would have gone for Platon anyway.

In one of the corners, we will not have a basement, and it's the interior corner of the basement that will get the mat according to our constructor. His reasoning was that it is thicker and can withstand more physical impact since we need to pack the masses properly there (to prevent that corner of the house from settling). So it's only a part of the basement wall that will get the mat, while the other walls will get a more traditional solution.
