Hello.

I am about to paint my new concrete floor, which has dried for about 10 months. I will be using Biltema's two-component floor paint.

The floor has been sanded with a professional diamond grinder, washed, and thoroughly vacuumed. The floor has been tested for moisture, and there is no problem.

Now I would like to know. Is it a good idea to apply a layer of microdispersion/adhesive like this one: http://www.haraldnyborg.se/merinfo.asp?varenr=8581&n=10, just as a "good measure"?

I thought that the first layer of paint might be absorbed by the substrate, and that the adhesive would seal the floor, so that the epoxy paint would be more even?

So: 1 layer of adhesive and 2 layers of epoxy painting.

Skip the adhesive. It works very well with just 2x Biltema’s epoxy. I've tested it. It holds like a rock. But don't forget to stir it first! The pigment settles at the bottom otherwise.

Ok - thanks.

I've heard a lot of good things about Biltema's epoxy.

I have also read about car people who have achieved good results on their floors with Biltema's stuff.
