As the title says, as an amateur, I wonder how I should best fix these settlements? Along all angles, it has cracked in this way; it's about a small building that has stood for a little over 1 year.

You can use painter's caulk to cover up the cracks. Cracks can occur when the wood in the wall moves.
 
It doesn't look like settling, completely normal drying cracks. Usually worst in the first year. Soft-seal the corners with hybrid sealant (paintable) which is better than regular latex.
 
Hybrid caulking, what is it, can't find anything like that when I search?

Painter's caulk, won't it show quite clearly that something has been smeared on?
