I have torn down a wall between two rooms where there is a significant difference in ceiling height of a few decimeters. I framed down a bit where the wall used to be and clad it like a box with OSB.

The idea was now to cover this with suitable material and create a sense of a beam being there. For example, some wood-based panel material that can be glazed white or black-brown. But then the question is how do I solve the seams in the panel material?

Suggestions or tips on how to achieve this in a nice way?

It's about a length of approximately 4 meters and a width of about 20 cm.
