New to the field of roofing and wondering about the battens for the roof of the shed I'm working on. Should the supporting battens be mitered at the ridge like the truss mitering at the ridge, or is this overkill?
Can I simplify it and cut my lengths without a miter angle on the supporting battens that end a few cm before the ridge on both sides?
Or is this the wrong way to do it, and will I later regret that I wanted to make it a little easier for myself at this moment? ;)

No point in using stöläkten. If you have a nockbräda, press them up against it, and if you don't have one, you can just finish straight with it at the nock.
