Doesn't sound like something that can be easily fixed, what was the problem and the solution?
Like 13th Marine wonders, many here on the forum would surely like to know what was wrong and how it was fixed, and if there were any alternative solutions. Basement walls and deep crawl space walls aren't entirely easy to inspect yourself if something looks suspicious, so a little general knowledge and theory doesn't hurt.
