Hello
I am going to set up a sun sail in my garden. I need to drill into the brick joint. How do I do that best? Concrete drill bit, with or without hammer function? I also have a drill bit used for ceramic, porcelain, terra-cotta. Maybe that one is better?
Best regards, Ingrid

first try concrete drilling without hammer action, with hammer action, and semi-hard grout the risk is that the hole becomes too large

Sunscreen in brick joint, is it really a good idea?

I'm thinking the same thing. There will be enormous forces when the wind catches the sail, so there's probably a risk that the hook will come flying when the wind picks up.

Don't you have an eave/rule to screw into? Upload pictures

Raising this thread a bit. I want to attach a sailcloth to a plastered lightweight concrete structure (above the glass section). What is recommended for attachment in that case?
