What are the height and width of the place where you want sliding doors?

IKEA PAX is available in shallower variants that are only 44 cm deep with sliding doors.

Yep! Double tracks at the top and bottom. It's a longer wardrobe with 4 sliding doors. We thought about doing it ourselves, but never managed to get it finished.

This is how I've built down about 130 mm that was missing up to the ceiling.
Just some 28x70 mm "glearpanel". A cover board should be added eventually as well...
