We have a metal entrance roof from Designtak. 80cm deep, 200cm wide. It has three brackets of the type in the picture.
The measurements don't seem to align with any studs where the attachment needs to occur.
Is it possible to attach it directly to the wood paneling (28mm), and which attachments should be used if so?

What are the alternatives otherwise? Take down the paneling and add an extra stud or external stud?

This is the roof:

It should be mounted as in the picture with the black facade, but I don't know how they did it there. Then a picture of our facade and the brackets for the roof.

  • Black wooden facade with a flat entrance canopy above a white door; pavement and potted plant in foreground.
  • Close-up of a wooden facade with vertical white panels showing drilled holes for potential installation of a metal entrance roof.
  • Metal bracket with holes held in hand, used for mounting a metal entrance canopy.
Have the exact same questions as above. Almost the same porch roof. Also won't hit a beam. How did you do it?
