I was thinking of attaching double plasterboards directly to a concrete wall.
I will probably use Casco BoardFix and a 6 mm trowel.
But what do I do with the second layer of plasterboard, do I need to glue between the first and second layers as well?
That would be an extra cost. Can't I screw the second layer into the first one?

Hi

I had glued the first layer exactly as you described, as well as with nail plugs and band metal. Then I would have screwed the second layer into the band metal.

Why do you need double plaster? You can glue the second layer with construction adhesive, but it'll require a heck of a lot of glue.

Why not polish the concrete wall?

The idea is soundproofing.

Since I now want to glue with fix, I don't want to drill and use nail plugs. The problem is the other gypsum layer. I'm going to build on with 0.6 cm fix + 1.2 mm gypsum + 1.2 mm gypsum = 3.0 cm. If the screw needs to be 3 cm for the outermost layer of gypsum, it feels a bit too tight for screwing, as I will hit the concrete with the screw. Can I use a shorter screw? The screw will barely go through the gypsum before hitting the concrete. Maybe if I have a fix comb of 1 cm - but then it will require a lot of fix...

A single-layer drywall screw is sufficient for a 25mm metal stud. Either the drywall must be glued together or it must be mechanically attached, for example, to metal strips fastened with plugs.

Can I have raw planks or battens as a wooden rule in my case?

I did a similar exercise to make walls smooth. In my case, it's siporex walls, but it's all the same. On Weber's advice, I used adhesive for the first layer with plaster, although I can't remember exactly which one.

If I were to add a second layer on this, I would use regular white glue and press the boards together with it.

If you're going to use studs instead, you can use battens if the wall is guaranteed not to be damp. You can never screw one layer of gypsum into another (only through wood or metal studs).

One should avoid organic materials in basements, so sheet metal studs are much better.

is it a basement?

Sorry. My bad. Maybe it's not a basement, no.

No, no basement so no moisture.
I'm going to frame one wall, on the other just put up double gypsum (will try with casco boardfix)

Was just worried in case lath or råspont was too weak. Will drill through the råspont and concrete and then use nail plugs.

On the other wall, I will use casco boardfix and just "glue" everything together.

Thanks for the reply!
