I want to attach hooks to a fiber cement board. Single garments will hang on the hooks, so we're not talking about heavy loads. What type of screw should I use for this? Do I need to use some form of anchor screw, or are there 'regular' screws that work in fiber cement boards?

Minerit is a cement board; drill a hole that is the size of the core of the screw (this is the part that is between the threads) you are going to use and tighten it by hand in the board, it will hold. If you don't drill beforehand, the screw will crack and splinter. In the minerit, small pieces will come off the front and back.
