I'm going to frame a side wall for the sliding doors but I don't know how to attach the frame to the ceiling. The ceiling is the common type (I think it's called Huntonit). Can I attach directly to it or do I need to find the battens? Are the battens located in the actual Huntonit joint or? Then I wonder if I can glue the frame with mounting glue on the tile floor which has underfloor heating.

What are you building that should be enclosed with this side wall?
I get the impression that it is a small sliding door wardrobe.
If so, I think you can glue both to the floor and to the ceiling with mounting adhesive or "NoMoreNails".
