I looked in one of our hardware stores and only found MDF moldings in 2400mm lengths. Pine was available in 3300mm, but not the right type of molding. I would still prefer MDF as they do not warp.
I need a molding that is completely straight and painted on all 3 sides (front and both edges). I might be able to use a thicker casing. In some parts of my project, I can use a window reveal.

...I found in sthlm, at Beijer you can order, they have several different sizes of something they call dörromfattning, exactly what I was looking for. .....BUT, to make it easier I rethought and can actually use shorter ones at 240
