I have bought a townhouse with a sloped ceiling on the upper floor where 2 of the rooms are limited by this and there are no windows there. I am planning to build dormers but would like to have a bit more information before I start getting quotes as I have no idea what a reasonable price might be.

The house is pretty much exactly like the one in the picture, and it's those types of dormers I would like to build, alternatively a full dormer the same width as the two that exist, but it seems to be harder to get approval based on what I've read.

Has anyone built something similar recently and can share what it cost so I can get a better understanding of the whole thing?

I will only be contracting out the actual construction and external cladding/flat roof. I will do the windows and interior finishing myself.

I don't know but that has never stopped me before. ☺️

For the dormers in the picture based on the house in the picture without dormers.... 645,000 SEK before ROT.

Where is the house located? In Stockholm, they do not accept dormers longer than 1.4m.
