I've seen it and similar at trade shows. I have a neighbor who built with that type of foundation and he's satisfied. I can mention that he is a carpenter by profession. I was offered to have my foundation done in this way but declined after hearing various horror stories where the elements had come apart and the concrete had leaked onto the ground, as well as after speaking with a salesperson at a trade show. They had done a moisture measurement one year after casting with the result that the concrete still had elevated moisture levels. The question I still pose concerns moisture and which path it should take out of the wall when you trap it between two plastic layers. Should it go down into the slab and out that way or should it go up to the top of the element and ventilate out that way? At the top, there is sill insulation that prevents it. Anyone who has the answer to this question is welcome to write a line.
