Hello! I live in a TEEG house built in 2000. The concept is based partly on a heated foundation with overpressure. The overpressure is created by bringing air into the foundation from outside via an FTX unit. In the foundation, the air is heated using two fan convectors (which are heated via a heat pump). The idea is that the warm air in the foundation should partly heat the uninsulated floor joists and partly rise through gaps at the skirting boards. I have some thoughts on how well the concept actually works. It seems to take a lot of energy to heat the foundation without much heat reaching the house. Therefore, I'm interested in getting in touch with others who live in TEEG houses or in a house with ecogrund (which, as I understand, is the same foundation solution as TEEG) to hear how well it works in your houses. If anyone else has relevant comments/thoughts, they would also be gratefully received😀
