I'm going to replace the insect screen under the roof and I'm looking into what all the materials will cost.
I saw that aluminum mesh wasn't extremely expensive.
* 30 meters of 60cm wide aluminum mesh = 749 SEK (1.3 x 1.3 holes)
* 25 meters of 60cm wide fiberglass mesh = 269 SEK (2.5 x 2.5 holes)
I know that wasps and others can gnaw through metal too, but surely the aluminum mesh should be better than fiberglass, right?
Admittedly, the holes are smaller in the aluminum mesh, so maybe the house won't breathe as well?
