Any asbestos risk? Strange insulation ceiling. Lots of natural materials.
No one can say what is or isn't in that stuff.
Regardless, I would remove it as soon as possible and replace it with proper insulation. The risk is that it doesn't insulate enough, and replacing it could pay for itself in a month or two.
I would have used a mask because there could be anything in there.

I'll buy a 15 pack of FFP3 masks from Biltema. Probably a wise investment
The insulation should be fine. It's living space above, probably doesn't even need insulation.

"Byggmästarblandningen" can contain anything. I found asbestos in our house in the form of visible remnants of asbestos paper used for insulation between the chimney and the wooden cladding.
It can be said that it is more or less likely depending on how the mixture looks.

Heavy insulation is good against sound.eligri said:
I probably wouldn’t invest in my health at Biltema but everyone does as they please. 😉
Isn't it rated according to the same requirements, shouldn't it be the same thing?imported_Benno said:
I think the rating is entirely based on the micron size of the filter, i.e., they either work or they don't. But I might be wrong there?
