Deck railing steel tube or aluminum
We are in the process of renovating our deck and are considering using some type of horizontal pipe for the deck railing. We need help deciding what type of material the pipes should be. Aluminum, galvanized or hot-rolled steel? Planning on using fairly thick pipes, about 40 mm. Grateful for input as it's getting time to purchase the railing.

I would consider aluminum as it is easier to work with if needed and it does not rust.S Snickarebo said:We are remodeling our deck and are considering having some sort of horizontal pipe for the deck railing.

Polished stainless steel pipes can also look nice.
