Hello!
I've heard about a product that can be used for an air gap under exterior cladding. Apparently, it's a chipboard material available in suitably wide "strips." Has anyone heard of this? What is it called and where can you get it?

I also read that some of you use plyfa (is it the same as plywood?). Do you cut suitable strips from a sheet, or is it available ready-made?

I hope someone can help me with my questions!

Most materials can be used, but the material should not be susceptible to moisture, so if you use plyfa, make sure it is waterproof.

You typically use a standard nail batten 22x45
