Have looked at a house with a wooden frame where the facade was additionally insulated "7-8 years ago." The house was built in 1909. Have not received an answer on how the additional insulation was carried out, but it is apparent that the facade is now plastered.
I assume that perhaps 5-10 cm of insulation was added and then plastered. Is this a risky construction? Doesn't this become a so-called single-step plastered facade where moisture can seep through the plaster and then not dry out? Or does the type of plaster matter?
