Hello!
A few years ago, I installed frost-resistant tiles on an outdoor concrete staircase. I now see that the base paint I use on the concrete peels off every year and becomes very unsightly. The staircase is not under a roof and is therefore exposed to the weather.
I'm wondering if it would work to install tiles on the vertical part of the staircase now afterward? I hadn't thought to extend the already laid tiles so that the vertical ones would align edge to edge with the ones already laid. Can a good solution still be made? Should I place an aluminum strip on the edge between the horizontal and vertical tiles?
Thanx :)

Change the paint type to one that doesn't peel or leave it unpainted?

Yes, that's plan B in that case :)
Thank you Åsa!
